FB Custom Audiences - Auto Update

Is there a way to make these audiences update automatically, even daily would work.

The last post I found was from 2015 and it was not possible - hoping almost 7 years later it will now have a solution.

So in the link you mentioned, it doesn't have a mention of continuous sync. 

But, it is now a feature, as is demonstrated in the more general "Send a List to an Ad Network" article: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/demand-generation/ad-network-inte...

If this is used with a static list, I believe it's almost instant. If it's used with a Smart List, I believe it recalculates once a day.

Happy days. Looks like the docs need updating though.

I am not getting the option to continuously sync as shown in the link provided.

Is that option now gone?

I've quickly checked this.  The Enable continuous audience sync option is only available for standard lists NOT for smart lists.

So, you'll need to have a campaign that adds people to a static list that you've configured for continuous updates.  This could be a batch campaign or triggered depending on your situation.
