We are in the process of migrating from one Marketo instance to a new one, and I need to get our Facebook Lead Ads Launchpoint connected to the new instance. I have already deleted the current Launchpoint and re-authorized in the new instance, but for some reason the leads are still syncing into the current instance. I contacted FB and they told me since Marketo is a third-party integration I would need to contact Marketo. Marketo said that I have followed the correct process on their end, but they are unfamiliar with how the integration works on the FB side. They suspect there is something that needs to be done on the FB side. I have searched around in our FB settings, but I can't find anything regarding integration with Marketo. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
JD
Are you sure you logged out and deleted the reference in the old instance?
Hey Josh
I didn't log out. I assume deleting the service under LaunchPoint would break the connection. I have also re-authorized from the new instance, but leads are still flowing into the old instance.
Are you able to deauth the app from the FB side?
I don't see anywhere on the FB side to deauth. It seems likely that there is something on that end that needs to be changed, but I wasn't able to find it and FB support told me to contact Marketo.
Do you know of a way to deauth from the FB side??
In order to find the LeadAd you have made on Facebook in Marketo, someone need to sign-up first (it could be you) before you can find the LeadAd in Marketo. You can sign-up under Publishing tools in Facebook.
Hi Kasper,
I am seeing the LeadAd in Marketo, but the leads are still be passed into our old Marketo instance.
