Emails with No Tracking

Hey guys,

Is there any way to remove alll tracking from an email?

Sometimes, we must send emails to a specific person so that they can forward the email to an entire distribution list that we don't have access to. When we do this, the person's lead score goes through the roof and triggers every Lead Score alert you can imagine!

Additionally, we would like to send non-tracked internal emails to groups in our marketing and sales staff. Currently, we duplicate the email and set up a seperate campaign to ensure that none of the numbers are duplicated, but it seems like it would be less of a waste if we could just send a non-tracked email!

Any ideas?

Hi Cheryl!

Thank you for information about the mktNoTrack class!

Unfortunately, I don't think this method eliminates the tracking pixel and would still greatly increas the lead score because of all of the  opens that are attributed to the original lead.

Do you know if Alert emails contain tracking pixels? Maybe I could add mktNoTrack and then send the email as an alert ...

Maybe set a flow step to decrease their Lead Score the appropriate amount to balance that out?

What about naming all of the emails you don't want tracked similarly like DoNotTrack_email1, DoNotTrack_email2, etc. and then in your scoring Smart List, change the filter or trigger to email does not contain "DoNotTrack". This way you score on all emails except for those.
