Hello all.
Just a quick question.... I have been working on the assumption that when you de-activate a trigger campaign you are effectively turning it off.
Recently I have realized (Unless its a bug) that leads in a wait step are still processed even through the campaign has been deactivated????
It sort of makes seance although a little counter intuitive to a newbie. Can someone please confirm if this is the case.
Deactivating a trigger campaign will prevent new leads from qualifying for the smart list and subsequently entering the flow. However, leads in the flow will still continue to execute those steps.
Thanks for the response. So what is best practice from preventing leads from executing.
At the moment all I can think of is, deleting the flow steps or using remove from flow. Is there a simple way to just turn off the campaign?
You can abort the campaign. Here is a great reference: Product Docs
Cant believe I have missed that for 2 years!!! thanks heaps
Edit.... I just checked am I missing something?
Perhaps that means there are no more leads in the wait steps. If there are still leads in wait steps, try activating the campaign and then aborting.
Just tried still missing, there are leads in the wait step and no abort option.
Is this a bug in our instance?
You want "Remove from flow."
True, placing remove from flow after the wait steps will solve the issue. But Sanford Whiteman, could you elaborate on when abort campaign would work?
could you elaborate on when abort campaign would work?
When it's a batch campaign.
