CSS and applied link colors for phone numbers

Does anyone know how to correct, or rather modify the link color that phones are now placing on phone numbers and such in emails?

Our team has other links that appear as a slightly different shade of blue, but even with an embedded style sheet defining our anchor tags to be a given color, the phone mail clients are reverting to the "default blue" for phone numbers.

I think this is what you are referring to. There are a number of solutions, with varying levels of functionality and drawbacks...but number 5 is probably the best.
