We're interested in adding a chat solution to our website that can take advantage of Marketo data - for instance using inferred location of a site visitor to present the chat pop-up to the salesperson assigned to the geo-location of the lead. Or possibly using lead score to control how the chat behaves.
Any tips?
Hi Hank,
This sounds a cool functionality. Previously, I created a similar website chat functionality with data from another marketing automation system (MarketFirst). I'd love to understand your specific needs to propose a solution architecture.
Some of the technologies, you will need will be JSON, JavaScript, CSS and combinations of Marketo JavaScript, Forms2.0 and REST API calls.
Please direct message me if I can be useful.

Hi Hank,
This is a great question, but it would get more traction in our Marketing Central place. You can move it by clicking "move" on the right hand side of this question. And, don't forget to mark the correct answer as correct, otherwise it will remain in the unanswered questions area!
Thanks!
Thanks Liz - I don't see a "move" option.
Marketo's Launchpoint site lists a lot of partners who have built custom integrations with Marketo and there are some chat services listed. The main site is Marketo LaunchPoint and you can just search for "Chat" in the search box. When I did, I came up with these partners:

http://launchpoint.marketo.com/nexmo/1985-chat-app-connectivity-from-nexmo/
http://launchpoint.marketo.com/blyve/1177-blyve-live-q-and-a-platform/

Thanks Mike!
