I haven't used the request campaign flow step before so this was super helpful to have some examples!
Nice tips Karan.
I was not a big fan of requested campaign until GDPR, then I became a convert. There are great reasons to use this functionality!
Add to list is definitely a majorly under-used tool!
Thanks Harvinder!
Great tips, thanks for sharing Karan!
Thanks a lot Jackie!
Great tips Karan
Thanks a lot Chris!
I like the personalization idea using a simple static list, such a simple solution to another wise complex problem. Great idea.
Thanks a lot Colin!
Good tips Karan. Lots of stuff and examples that not many people think about.
Thanks a lot Grace!
Great tips, Karan! Add to list & request flow steps are such simple features with lots of powerful applications.
Hi Caryl Mostacho ,
Thanks!
And that's a good question. One fact about the Date Token Wait Step is that it only applies to trigger campaigns. You cannot use this feature in batch campaigns. So I wouldn't say it particularly would lead to slowing down of the instance, as the effect it would have would be as any other active triggered campaign in your instance. The only downside I can see is, as per the campaign processing priority, Wait step is at the lowest priority. So apart from that, depending upon the used case, this could be really helpful!
Hope that helps!
Best Always,
Karan Hari
Great tips!
Add to list is clutch! It's so helpful for filtering out people, I use it to move people around between nurture programs sometimes.
Question regarding the - date wait step tokens - i am always a little reluctant to use these two often as it means a smart campaign that's basically "running" until it's complete. does this have any impact on slowing down marketo at all?
Thanks Heather Correa!
Thanks a lot Natalie Kremer!
