Can dynamic content break an image?

Hello. 

I am working on an event email campaign and so far have I sent two emails. I used the same hero image for both emails, but in email 2 I used dynamic content.  Email 1 worked fine. Email 2, people received the email with the hero image cropped. My team members and I tested the email and we saw no issue, but for the actual send the image appeared cropped for some people. We are not sure if it's the outlook version, the iPhone version or there is an issue with using dynamic content copy with an image.

Has anyone experienced this before and know how to fix it? Thank you in advance.

You'd have to supply the relevant snippet of your HTML. A screenshot won't suffice.

But there's no reason for Dynamic Content alone to affect layout.
