Calendar token

Hi!

I'm trying to set this up, but it's not working. In my Webinar Program, I want to include the unique code and the registration code(GoToWebinar) for registered in my save the date Calendar file/token but the tokens are not showing as links in the ICS file when you download it in Outlook.

Is anybody have an idea how to fix that?

Thanks.

Re: Calendar token

If I recall correctly those {{member.tokens}} are quite ephemeral and only exist in the context of registration confirmation. But you may be able to copy (Change Data Value) them onto a lead field. Of course that would only hold the last registration info but might be fine for you.

Re: Calendar token

Hi guys

This normally works 100% because we have been using them for our webinars also (WebEx).

Here's one of ours for example. We create a local token within that program

The product docs page here shows the same thing so I know I am not going mental (well not completely anyway )

I have raised a support ticket and will update when we hear back from Marketo

Cheers

Re: Calendar token

I just tried this and weirdly couldn't get a {{my.token}} to populate either in the title (expected) or the description (not expected, since the token selector allows you to select {{my.tokens}}.

Anyone know why?

Re: Calendar token

Still workin' for me. You're not trying to use a Velocity token, are you?

P.S. Agical is way better. 🙂

What.

So much better!!! Thanks so much. I'll just implement this instead of the Marketo default.

Magic as usual Sanford!

Re: Calendar token

Hey Sanford, I've popped in Agical and it's working like a charm. Thanks again.

One weird thing though: when using Zoom for our meetings and this service, when we use the {{member.webinar url}} token in the description field, it saves to Google Calendar - but it comes up with a message that says "Error: not meeting host". It still saves ok, but I'm wondering how we get rid of it...

I'm guessing it's something to do with Zoom?

Re: Calendar token

Oh, and to be clear, I'm using this URL:

http://ics.agical.io/?subject=G%20Adventures%20Geo%20Party%20Trivia%20%2D%20{{my.region}}&locati... start time}}&dtend={{my.url end time}}&description=Join%20here%3A%20{{member.webinar url}}&format=gcal"> <img src="https://letsgo.gadventures.com/rs/110-AIL-152/images/Google-Calendar-Icon-670x295.jpg

All the other parameters are fine and are working as expected:

{{my.region}} = Europe

{{my.url start time}} = 2020-06-02T19:00:00%2B10:00

{{my.url end time}} = 2020-06-02T20:00:00%2B10:00

{{member.webinar url}} populates just fine in the description, but it seems like it has some connection with the meeting host?
