API Call Limits with Professional Edition of Salesforce

Hi there,

We are having issues with our API call limits with Salesforce. We are on the professional addition and thus have 11,000 API calls per day. We have recently just implemented Marketo and are getting our database up to date. On Monday, we ran a rather large campaign and we hit our max API calls.

Since then we have had our API call limit adjusted (temporarily) to allow for the updates to come through. However it seems that these updates are still taking quite some time (updates on monday have still not come through). When we look at our API call usage, we're not hitting the max anymore either.

What do people with the professional edition of Salesforce usually use for API calls on a daily basis? Did you have to increase it or was the 11,000 sufficient?

You should turn OFF Activity Updates. Admin > SFDC Sync > Actvities
