Here's a stumper:
My question: Do I create today the calendar invitation for 2 hours ahead of the event or for 1 hour ahead? I'm only wondering because the token builder specifically says "CST" and I'm not confident that it will automatically change to "CDT" in March.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Tyson,
I've wondered about this token myself recently, so I have done a few tests. In my case, I was looking to see if the token would automatically evolve for Daylight Time in the UK while sent from France (one hour ahead). In order to find this out, I tried setting my computer and my Marketo instance to UK time and prepare a token for May, and then changing the date on my computer.
In Microsoft Outlook at least, the token adapts; if you've set it up for 10:00 a.m, it will still be 10:00 a.m even if your whole computer goes into Daylight Time (which makes sense, it wouldbe the same thing if you booked a flight 6 months in advance for example).
If you want to be absolutely sure, I can only advise do to do the same kind of testing: set up your computer to AZ time, change your date and see how it goes. (You'll be able to see if you're not in Kansas anymore)
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Juliette
That's a wonderful idea Juliette! Thanks for the advice
Glad I could help!
