In List Import Mode, choosing Skip new people and updates means you will not impact existing person records or log any activities. Use this mode if you want a quick, pre-filtered static list of existing people for use in your marketing activities. Selecting this mode will:

I would think the use case could be you want to update information of a selected existing list of people that would be quicker if you update via CSV (example from another platform or if you want to do multiple fields). As activity logging will not show say example the phone number was updated to +65 6754321 from 6754321 for an example.

    📅Section 2: Building assets (19%)

    • Manipulating files in Design Studio (uploading/replacing images and files).
    • Create/Modify a form using the Form Editor.
    • Create/Edit an email using the Email Editor.
    • Create/Edit a landing page using the Landing Page Editor.
    • Create/Edit a Snippet in the Snippet Editor.
    • Distinguish the difference between draft and approved assets.
    • Distinguish the difference between local and global assets.

    This might be one of the sections that all of you use a frequently. The last 2 points are important for you all to know and I will likely have a quiz on these 2

If an administrator would like to create a contact us form across all 5 workspaces, the most efficient way of creating this would be option A, creating a global form in design studio.

For this I believe the answer would be A. Global Form created in Design Studio. As the Administrator wants to use this form accross work spaces.

Yes the benefits of having global assets like a global form in design studio helps to ensure consistency and ease of replicating these forms across all the workspaces!

It's 🎲 quiz time! 
So I will start off with the basics using this 📢 objective - Identify when to use each of the 4 program types.
Question:
The marketing specialist wants to send a triggered confirmation email to all leads who have filled in the online enquiry form.
Which program type should be used?
1. Email program
2. Event program

3. Engagement program

4. Default program

Happy Friday 👋

 

I Believe the answer would be 4. Default Program,  because the specialist can create a smart campaign which listen to form fillout via triggers and set a flow to send a confirmation email.

Default program is flexible and can do things which Email, Event and Engagement programs cannot do. Default programs can also be use multiple times.

Email Programs are used for one time batch and blast and the Smart list for email program doesn't not contain Triggers, So that won't be the option. 

Event Program will also not to be used as its not an event that ends after some time, its an enquiry form which will be active all time listining for actions.

The Marketing Specialist just want to send the confirmation mail if a form is filled out, they are not nurturing them for future actions.

I agree with @Harsh-297 !

I also believe it's the "Default Program" since this request do not follow the criteria of:

  1. An event program, since we are not asking people to join an specific event (Given a time and date)
  2. An email program, its not just a single communication, but instead its a form and then a trigger email.
  3. An engagement program, is a confirmation email and not nurturing at a regular interval.

Regarding your comments:

    [Melina] Yes that is true as we are not using any of the status for events

  2. An email program, its not just a single communication, but instead its a form and then a trigger email.
    [Melina] Email program has no flow steps so it's not possible to trigger a confirmation email

  3. An engagement program, is a confirmation email and not nurturing at a regular interval.
    [Melina] Actually does nurturing of a series of emails at regular intervals but will not be able to trigger a confirmation email although it would be possible for advanced users to insert a program into the engagement program.
