We have no SFDC integration and only our Marketing team has access to Marketo. So the only way for sales to see anything within Marketo is if they receive alert emails or reports like this. With the extra functionality of Smart Lists, I'm able to put together what they really want to see... They're absolutely invaluable and the only report like this worth its while is the web traffic one. All of the other reports are such a challeng.
Speaking of the challenge of reports...rather than train the rest of my team on where they need to go to find/create the reports they need, it would be great to create their (simpler) Smart Lists and set up their subscription. Then they'd receive their reports and all would be well. Please, Marketo?
Marketo plays a huge part in the next phase of our trade communications strategy. Once we make the transition, we will have over 200 sales people who will want to see a consolidated list of which of their customers has received and/or acted on new product and program communications. Subscribe to Smart List is going to be an invaluable tool for us once it's released. It would also provide a pivotal data point in proving the value of Marketo to the sales leaders in our organization. I'm willing to participate in any customer panels you may put together on this topic.
