Skip emails in engagement programs if meet certain criteria

Want to be able to skip certain emails within an engagement program if certain exclusion criteria are met.

We run into this a lot where we have one offer that is being marketed through multiple emails. Marketo only skips emails if they have already been sent, but for us, the emails are different with the same offers. If someone's already been sent the offer, we don't want to send it again if they qualify for a nurture.

Don't know how to do this currently without adding a program to the engagement stream, which compromises reporting.

You should really separate out offers into Streams or not have the same offer multiple times. You can also set an email or program to be available for a certain period of time.

You can also use a Program with smart list criteria. I'm not sure what reporting issues you've had though.

I agree that this should be added. It is basic nurture strategy. Marketo's nurture streams are essentially limited to drip campaigns, not true nurtures.

We are running into the same problem of wanting to skip people if they complete a specific CTA mid-campaign.
