To manage our blog using marketo and capture all of the user engagement, it would be great to be able to create an email and workflow with our existing blog RSS feed.
We would like this implemented as well. We currently use Mailchimp to pull rss-to-email template and have it sent out daily. If looking to have Marketo take over for this process and gain additional insight into lead interactions, an rss pull in feature would save a ton of time. Otherwise it has to be done manually.
The possibility to create in the admin section a RSS object, to give it a name (for instance MYRSS) and set the parameters (typically the feed URL)
A few tokens (MYRSS.LastItemTitle, MYRSS.LastItemURL, MYRSS.LastItemDate, MYRSS.LastItemSummary) to capture the data from the RSS feed and be able to create and customize the emails
A "RSS has new feed" trigger or any other way to detect a RSS has a new entry and schedule campaigns
That would be extremely helpful to ease nurturing, as, today, this is eaher a very cumbersome process or has to be done outside of marketo, leading to the fact that it is impossible to know who has reacted to each email.
Has anyone done this successfully? I'm looking to create a number of topic-focused newsletters from my site's RSS feed and can't do it (lack of time) without automation.
We would love to migrate our feedburner account into Marketo. This would give us so much more information about how our email subscriptions are performing.
When we were migrating away from our last provider, we even considered using MailChimp instead of Marketo for this very reason!
