It seems like a comprehensive tabular view of all programs would be really useful, similar to the Campaign Inspector. Currently the only way to get a list of programs is to look at the tree.

How would you want to primarily organize and group programs? By channel?

You can also get an excel dump of all programs via Analytics. 

As for as organizing programs it really depends on your company and its marketing efforts. At my last company we did language/country based marketing. So we had our top-level folders by region, BeNeLux, DACH, UK, US, etc.. Beneath that were Assets, Events, Blasts & Webinars. Further subfoldered as appropriate. 

In my new job, we only market in a single language at this time. So our top level folders are by program type, essentially. Activities (includes events & assets), Nurturing, Operational, Sales, SDR, SEM.
