I would LOVE to be able to attach things to emails. I know there are work-arounds which is what we've been doing but a proper integrated solution would be awesome!
Do you have any concern about the impact of file attachments on spam filters? I'm assuming that's why Marketo made the decision to leave it out in the first place. We use 60kb as a best practice size limit for our email, and I typically encourage everyone to link their files rather than directly attaching them. (Plus then we can see if someone clicked the link.)
The best solution available at present is to upload your file to Marketo's images and file section in Design studio. These files will then be hosted and you can then include a link to them in your email.
