Create shortcuts, redirects, pseudos and lifetimes for Sales Insight (MSI) access to resources, instead of navigating through folders

Usually, it you want to keep you marketing instance organized, one of the consequences is that MSI emails or smart campaigns are buried deeply in the folder tree, making them very hard to find. e.g. (real life example):

  • Top level
    • 01-Acquisition [Campaign folder]
      • Germany [Campaign folder]
      • UK [Campaign folder]
        • FY2015 [Campaign folder]
          • Gated Content Programs [Campaign folder]
            • 20150624-GTC-White Paper-Become a Marketo Specialist in 3 months [This is a program, not a marketing folder]
              • 01-Assets [Program folder]
                • 01 Email [Program folder]
                  • 01-Marketing [Program folder]
                  • 02-MSI [Program folder]
                    • 01-Sales Invite to download [Houra, My Sales Insight email is here]
              • 02-Smart Campaigns
                • TC01-Send invite on demand [Cool, my MSI Triggered Smart Campaign is here]

It is likely that many sales will stop before reaching the 10th level. Furthermore, it is likely that Marketing people will use coded names for their assets to keep them short.

Is would be great that, when publishing an email or a smart campaign to MSI, we could in fact create a virtual folder structure, gave the email or the smart campaign a sales friendly name. Sales would see that friendly name and foldering that would make it much easier.

Furthermore, the marketing person would be able to send a end date for the resource, at which an email would be unapproved and the smart campaign would be deactivated.

From Sales Insight, the sales person would see, for intance :

  • Germany sales emails
  • UK Sales emails
    • White paper promotion
      • 2015 White Paper-Become a Marketo specialist in 3 months

This idea should even be created in combination with this one to make it really usable.
