Add Form Submission Date to Smart List Options

Add Form Submission Date to Smart List Options

I would like to be able to see when a contact submits a specific form and run a smart list on this data.

Geoffrey Krajeski What we're looking for is a separate column on each form report that says the date/time the lead submitted the form. This information is on the lead record, but that does not work when looking at a massive list of people. In addition, I want to be able to export a list of all form fills and filter them in excel by date submitted.

I know other Marketing Automation platforms have this functionality....

Hi All,

Then, if the idea is to be able to render the last fill out form date, in the VIEW (as a column in the smart list), then IMHO, it's a good idea. Furthermore, there can be hundreds of forms in a instance, and it is obviously not possible to imagine we are going to create a field for each of them...

If I may suggest it, the idea is not correctly labelled to reflect this need

But expecting a smart list column is not possible either, since these are fields, unless...: One of the easiest and most powerful mechanism would be this idea:

I agree.

In our situation, we have created a custom field called 'Form Fill - Time Stamp'. When a lead fills in a particular form a flow action updates the data in that field with {{system.dateTime}}. Then depending on what date and time they filled in the competition entry form, they are in a draw for a different prize.

We want to know the date and time of when leads (potentially the same leads) fill in a different form - if we use the same custom field, the data is overwritten with the new time stamp.

We don't want a custom field for every form.

The time and date details of the form fill is in the activity details of an individual lead, but looking at this for hundreds of leads is not feasible.

I would suggest you do this from the form (in the onSubmit event), not from a flow, if you're trying to be time-accurate. Under load a form fillout may not hit the flow for (I've seen) 15 minutes or more.
