"Shipped' Status for Product Release Notes

Release notes can get complicated. With several features launched every couple of months, it can be difficult to keep track of product changes in your production environment and how they might enhance your day-to-day responsibilities.

Starting with our October ’22 release notes, all planned features will now have a dedicated “shipped” status attached to them. This lets you know right away if the relevant feature is available for you to try in-product, or if it’s just around the corner. Check out the image below as a reference, or navigate to the current Release notes page to see for yourself!

Once a particular feature is updated to a “shipped” status, the relevant documentation link will also be updated. For features that were announced for the current release cycle but have not yet been pushed to production, you will see a “coming soon” status.

We hope this status functionality will streamline your process for testing out new features in your environment. If you have any questions or feedback on how this information is displayed on our Release Notes page, please feel free to comment down below!

Hi Jon, this addition will be helpful! Question: If a particular feature will be rolled out to customers over a period of time, will there be a way to confirm if (when) a feature is (will be) available in a particular instance?

Hey @Beth_Massura ,

Glad to hear it! Unfortunately, there won't be any additional details for when features are shipped aside from the mentioned shipped status. This is because the product team changes or delays which data centers get features often, so we opted for a more general term to minimize confusion. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
