Does Marketo have some CRM functionality?

Hello,   Just some questions and learn and grow with the Marketo tool. Can someone help me answer these questions? Does Marketo have any CRM functionality whereby you can perform individual contact searches across all campaigns? Can you search for a contact across all campaigns in the tool and at the same time to see what activity\frequency of activity and engagement we have had with them?  E.g can we see if they were sent a Tax newsletter and also signed up for a tax event?   Thanks so much!  ...
