ha.. dang. Dumb question.. It pops up a window. I forgot I had to drag a new item over into the email template, before I could see it anywhere.
I'm reading up on a couple of the email variables, and I'm not understanding how to use the mktoHTML variable. I get the instructions, but it seems to be missing a crucial piece of information, or I'm being dense: The Marketo explanation shows the metatag, and explains that it's boolean: It shows th...
A-ha! I suspect the URL Parameters tool is exactly what I needed! Didn't know that existed (or forgot). Now I just have to see what I get after the next crawl of the site. Thanks!
Hmmm... I'll have to further research the Google indexing issue. I've not seen any way in our current site for modifying this. I swear I've seen somewhere to 'keep query strings' in the URL. But no luck. For the sake of a live example - here's a real-world example:http://cyberscout.com/resource-requ...
Possibly.. wasn't sure what extra info was needed. Basically, the URL contains the resource title, and whether it's a white paper, case study, webinar or infographic. Then the Marketo form can pull that in...
Ah! There's an idea.. Right now it just says "get the eBook"
I've gotten caught in the middle of two opposing requests.I have a form on a landing page. By request, I built it so that the end-user fills out the form and a pdf resource downloads immediately. (we also have an auto-reply email send to that person) This is done by setting "after form fill" to "ext...
hmmm... I was trying to avoid that for this one, as it's something changing every couple weeks. That'll add up to a lot of programs in little to no time.
I don't handle the reporting piece so much, so I'm not sure on this one: If a form is on several landing pages within a program, can we & how do we show which landing page the form was completed on (or referral source) in a report or smart list? There could be multiple submissions, so we don't want...
