Hi Quang,20+ languages sounds like quite a challenge. One way to do this would be to use a combination of Segmentation and Dynamic Content. For the Segmentation, you'd create a segmentation called, say, "Language" and within that you'd have segments for each of the languages. See: Create a Segmentat...
Hey Anne - Alejandro said in his initial post that he already does that and was looking for a better solution.
Hi Alejandro,In general, I give the same names to Marketo programs and SFDC campaigns that are linked together. Can you give me more of an idea of the big picture and what you are trying to do?Do you want to add people to an SFDC campaign from more than one Marketo program? That is, are you building...
Hi Alejandro,Just look at the gray canvas area to the right of the program to see if the Salesforce Campaign Sync shows the name of a Salesforce Campaign. If it says "not set", as in the screenshot below, the Marketo Program is NOT synced (linked) to an SFDC Campaign.Incidentally, if you create a Ma...
Hi Huihsing,Re: "Can SFDC/Marketo stop these new contacts/leads synced over to Marketo till SFDC team feel like the data load is good and ready?"You can create a custom sync filter with Marketo's help that will prevent Leads/Contact from syncing to Marketo if it's checked (e.g., "Do Not Sync to Mark...

I've noticed the same thing Dan calls out - about the missing information. But I do use Skye occasionally for the saved filter set capability. I just select the saved filter set and then go back to the regular UI to continue.Denise
Hi Dan,I have seen two instances of this - where the conversion syncs over as a new (Contact) record and Marketo does not catch up later and merge it, resulting in duplicates on the Marketo side. I don't know how many other instances of this there may be lurking that I haven't caught. This is clearl...
Hi Nina,I have an open case with support now that has been escalated and will be glad to report back here when we have a resolution. This is an issue I have observed on and off for a few years in different Marketo instances and I think Marketo should find a way to fix it. In particular, once Marketo ...
Just to answer your literal question - you can create rules in SFDC to block duplicate creation. This will cause the Marketo attempt to sync the lead to SFDC to fail. Let me know if you'd like details on this. However, as has been pointed out above, this doesn't entirely solve your problem because y...
