I just inserted a table with one column and two rows - put the image in the top cell and the caption in the bottom. Went to table properties and aligned right. That seemed to work best so far. Still looking for other solutions if they are out there.
I can't figure out how to add a caption to an image that is right aligned in an email.I found below from a 2013 thread - but the "Here's a Caption!" does not travel with the image when you align it right.

I actually think the user was having to upload them sideways in attempt to get them to rotate correctly in the actual email. I did a search for transform a while ago and nothing related to images comes up. Just did "transform: rotate" and "rotate" and nada.
