Removing individual 'selected values'

Possibly a very simple question - but is there a way to easily remove individual 'selected values' when you have multiple without having to start the filter again? Presuming there must be a way but I can't see how!

Thanks for the quick response Greg.Just to make things more complicated, we often have more than one event on one date so unfortunately I don't think we could use the 'registration date' as a field to determine which event they want to register for.
