No, although we have a dedicated api-only user in Marketo, there is not a dedicated user in the CRM for the integration. I think normally the field security for this sort of thing is set at read-only across the board, and only the 'super-admin-users' can edit them.I'll see if its an option though, a...
Hi Sanford, thanks for your advice. Yes it's quite possible to do as you suggest - the fields already exist in the CRM UI so that users can view the preferences, but the sync for these fields is Marketo to CRM only.I'll think I'll speak to the developers and look at changing this since you & Jay bo...
Thanks for commenting Jay - but for this list if the contact is on there for a couple of hours then there is an issue, so the API export won't be necessary.
Hi Karan, thanks for the prompt response. I'm doing some testing based on your answer & will be back here in the next couple of days to mark as correct (or ask more questions )

I was going down the incorrect route of trying to stop a campaign triggering, whereas the better route was to utilise the Choices in the Change Data Value flow steps. With your example and some testing, I now have two campaigns managing this successfully - thanks for your help Bryan!
Almost exactly a year we (hurriedly) did a few changes to our brand new Marketo instance, in working towards becoming GDPR compliant. One of the things we did was add a 'GDPR consent given' field (opt-in) to include on all forms. We then created four campaigns to keep this field in sync with the unsu...
Hi Brooke Bartos we have just had two instances linked and I'm about to start migrating some essential programs (mostly operational ones), and I came across this thread when looking for more details - I'd really appreciate it if you had time to share some of your experience of this. I've followed y...
