Has anyone found a resolution for this? i get a lot of errors in my integration and am not able to send to these emails if they do not have a .com, .org, .net. etc...This drives deliverability down and invalids up.

No, i never received any resolution for this. So i just kind of go with what Marketo allows at the moment i need to use the function, but I now try not to use the email search filter as much as possible.
