Hi everyone! I am looking at moving away from my current webinar provider to Zoom, and I would love some feedback from other Marketo + Zoom users.
1. How quickly after a webinar is completed do the attendees/no-shows get passed to Marketo and Salesforce? Right now with our current provider it takes 4 hours after the webinar for our sales team to see that someone attended the webinar.
2. With zoom, how do you pass the questions asked in the webinar to the sales team? Is it just a spreadsheet you can share with them, or can the info pass from zoom to marketo?
3. Is the only thing you are able to score off of attendance? Or can you score off of people asking questions, answering polls in the webinar?
4. Are there any major challenges you have experienced?
Rachel,
I don't have experience with the integration, but I would use the below link as a reference. Hopefully it can point you in the right direction.

Hi Rachel,
I used this documentation when setting the integration up for my first time. Hope it helps!

There's also some good feedback here: https://nation.marketo.com/thread/38673-zoom-webinars-and-marketo-integration

1. How quickly after a webinar is completed do the attendees/no-shows get passed to Marketo and Salesforce? Right now with our current provider it takes 4 hours after the webinar for our sales team to see that someone attended the webinar.
It's almost immediately. If in zoom, you set the webinar time from 2-3 pm, you can expect all the info in Marketo just after 3 pm.
2. With zoom, how do you pass the questions asked in the webinar to the sales team? Is it just a spreadsheet you can share with them, or can the info pass from zoom to marketo?
You can send in spreadsheet. Or if your integration is proper, you can see all the info in marketo as well.
3. Is the only thing you are able to score off of attendance? Or can you score off of people asking questions, answering polls in the webinar?
Yes. You can do so. You can see all the info in Marketo who took part in the polls, Q&A, etc.
4. Are there any major challenges you have experienced?
Integration is a major challenge. Follow this tutorial to fo the integration: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/207267346-Setting-Up-Zoom-for-Marketo
For finding your api secret and key (this info is old in the documentation),
1. Go here: App Marketplace
2. Uncheck Intent to Publish
2. Enter App Name and Select "Account-level app" as app type
3. Select JWT Credentials.
4. Once you submit with relevant info, you will see your API key and secret. Enter those in your Marketo webinar tokens.
Hi @Gursimran_Chand,
We've completed the Zoom integration and data is syncing as expected, but how do we get Q&A and Poll data to sync from Zoom to Marketo?
Zoom used to require a Webhook/Custom Object to gather this data in MKTO. This is what that process used to look like: https://support.ringcentral.com/gb/en/article/Webinar-Integration-Marketo.html.
The legacy workaround above should still work. You can read more here: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Zoom-Marketo-Attendees-API-and-JoinURL-Help/m-p/29...
These should help as well!

@kaitbrady, thanks for your response. I saw that you linked to a RingCentral page. I know Zoom purchased RC, but just wondering how the RC setup would help with the Zoom data gap we're seeing here. We have the entire RC setup still intact in our instance, but don't really understand how to connect the dots. I don't want to take up too much of your time, but if you could provide insight to this I'd greatly appreciate it.
@Danny_Tran5 Zoom didn't buy RC but they do have the same legacy set up. I unfortunately couldn't find the Zoom documentation. Do you have the Custom Object set up?
Hi @Kaitlyn_Simko,
Whoops, I was given bad info. I do have the Custom Object setup from when we were using the RC integration. However, I reached out to Zoom to see if they had any ideas on how get the same data ported in. They said it wasn't in their roadmap.
"I've just received word from our of our Engineering Team that the Q&A/Polling Report porting feature is currently not within our design pipeline for the Marketo integration at this time."
I feel like we might need to utilize services from a Zapier or Tray.io to get this done.
Thanks for your responses, Kaitlyn.

Hello -- I'm testing the Zoom/Marketo integration and set up a short webinar. I had two people register for the webinar using a Marketo landing page -- their information was pushed to Zoom.
I read in your message that the attendee status is passed to Marketo almost immediately after the ending of the webinar. So far, that hasn't happened for me. My test webinar ended at 10:15 am PT and it's not 11:30 am PT and that status for the two folks is still set to "registered." In Zoom, I see that the two people did attend. Wondering if there is anything that I need to set up on the Marketo side for the status to be updated.
Thank you.
