YouTube Video: Difference between the Share Flow and the Recommend Flow

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the differences in the Share Flow and the Recommend Flow in the Social Boost Application for YouTube video. The steps within each step are identical. Any insight into this would be great.
Step 1: App Settings
Step 2: Share Flow
Step 3: Recommend Flow
Step 4: Finish

Share flow is what happens when the user is prompted to share at the middle/end of the video - 

Recommend flow is the flow powered by the buttons below the video that the user can click anytime -
