I've been stumped by this one before. Here's what I think the answer is..
Email performance report shows you per total leads what the activity. XX% Opened, XX% Clicked XX% Unsubscribed. But they are all # of leads.
The Link Performance report on the other hand shows you the total number of links which were clicked, but not ultimately tied to leads, one lead can click multiple links. This is why you'll see more clicks on the Link Performance report than the Email Performance report. If it is the opposite way, then you have a problem.
Don't forget you need to control for your own internal testing. You clicked every link in that email before it was sent out, which adds to that 85 clicks discrepancy.
