I can't wrap my head around "unique clicks" in RCE being different that "clicked" metrics in an Email Performance report...
Question:
Who is right for click email metrics? RCE or an Email Performance Report?
Are RCE click metrics (Unique Clicks, % Clicked, % Clicked to Open) different than Email Performance click metrics (Clicked, % Clicked, % Clicked to Open)?? If so how?
Yes.
This is well documented in the forums and on docs.marketo.com
EP report shows total clicks, not uniques.
RCE shows unique clicks - only first click
Email Insights shows other stuff.
they are all "right" for the criteria the report is built on.
I looked them both up prior to posting this. I am getting confused on why EP clicks (“Number of email recipients who clicked a link in the email.”) is different that RCE unique clicks (“Total emails with at least one clicked link”). Isn’t that really the same thing? Neither of those are counting a click more than once right?
