We currently have over 3 brands and create landing pages for each and need each landing page to reflect the brands unique url, is it possible to use different domains to cater to each brand? (for landing pages and emails)
Yes, you can create a CNAME for each brand. What this does is allow you to place urls in your emails that reflect the brand name. The only thing to note is that the CNAMEd URL will resolve back to your domain name once they click it.

When you create an LP CNAME (domain alias) in DNS, it points to *.mktoweb.com. So on the pure web side, you don't "leak" your primary LP domain to the lead.
The real problem is that AFAIK you still can't have different branding domains. Tracked links in emails will all be written to a single domain, so there you should the domain of your an umbrella organization, if you have one. I know there is a plan to change this, but I don't know where it is on the roadmap.
That is great to hear on the email side as brands need to be separated (visually at least)
but on the LP side that is an issue, perhaps we can use unbounce to create the landing pages and have the urls created from their end.
Thank you.
It's the other way around, though: on the LP side, you don't reveal anything you don't want to if people go to the LP from any other web source.
But when you add a link to an email, it will be rewritten to bounce off your (single) branding domain for click tracking. When the user clicks, they will be redirected to the (properly separated) landing page aliases.
Oh I see so on the LP side I can assign specific domains (depending on which brand the LP is for) for masking? Thanks
When you create Domain Aliases, all your LPs are available via any of those domains. So you don't need to "assign" a domain per se, but you need to only publish the domain you want.
Sanford stated it correctly. To further explain, if your mkto LP is "webpage.html", and you have 3 domain aliases in Marketo, the following links will all load the same LP:
Just remember that cookies are domain-specific so a known lead on "willshum.com" will not be a known lead on "shumindustries.com" until they fill out a form on the 2nd domain or click a marketo email link for the 2nd domain.
Thanks guys.
Each brand/domain/alias needs it own seperate tracking via GA how much that work in terms of traffic reporting on specific domain/brands?
