What exactly does 'Reset schema' do?

I'm hoping that this means it will reset the API names that integrate with Salesforce?

What are the cons to resetting schema?

I had some APIs that changed after the initial sync, and I was hoping this would remedy any broken mappings.

Do you have existing data in the system? This is generally only when you first setup sync and BEFORE you send over data to Marketo.

Yes, it will remap the data fields to the current SFDC schema. I'd call Support if you are doing this after a full sync.
