Hey Dory,

I don't see an issue with this question.  The send alert flow step defaults to send the alert to the lead owner.

Agreed with you, Dory, but on the other end, it only as which flow steps should be used, to how they should be set up

Agreed, Greg... the question and corresponding answer (as well as others) just seem a little incomplete.

Joseph, my issue with the answer is that how they've set it up, everyone -- including those who had followed up within the SLA -- would receive the alert. People not receiving the alert is just as important as people receiving the alert. But like Greg said, they just asked the steps not how they should be configured.

The main point that I believe Dory is trying to make - which I completely agree with - is that these types of "incomplete" questions/answers do nothing to demonstrate one's knowledge of properly using Marketo to achieve a specific task.  If one were to simply add a wait step and a "send alert" flow step, the outcome would be incorrect for this specific task.  For example, this would be a complete answer (visually):

Indeed, Dory and you both have a point...

Hi Dan,

It's this question where the correct answer-Lightbox- is not within the multiple choice options.

"A marketer wants to launch a new gated asset on a company website using a Marketo embedded form.   Which functionality is used for Marketo embedded forms?

A. reCAPTCHA
B. Form Pre-fill
C. Progressive Profiling
D. Suppress Competitor form fills

Answer is C
Reference: http://docs.marketo.com/display/public/DOCS/Use+a+Form+in+a+Lightbox  "

Fortunately, for review purposes, the reference URL is correct but it doesn't bode well for test questions.

(I did send a note to MKTO re: this.)

Thank you for your feedback,
Lynn

I noticed this as well - and to be honest - Lightbox wouldn't be the correct answer either.  Our website has hundreds of embedded forms on it and none use Lightbox - just the embed code.  So I was expecting a choice like "javascript embed code".  And certainly none of the potential answers that were listed here.  What's listed here are features that might exist with an embedded form - and C is the only correct answer (since pre-fill does not work natively; and the other two just don't make sense).

Thanks, Dan,

I hope MKTO uses rigorous Q&A before releasing the test.  Test taking is tough enough without whacky questions ha, ha!

Oddly enough, there was A LOT of QA. Probably too much. I also saw this question on the Beta and am disappointed it wasn't removed from the live test.

This question is so idiotic I don't even know where to start.

But like Dan said, the missing answer isn't "Lightbox."

If the question were "Which of these technologies work natively/automatically on Marketo LPs but not on embedded forms?" the answer would be B. It almost seems like that's the question they meant to ask, and the difference b/t ProgPro and Pre-Fill would then be well highlighted.
