Ways to notify admin user when another user is importing a list

The organization has users globally and noticing List Imports tend to come in with bad data / not following standardization processes prior to upload. The Marketo Admin (or even just a single user) would like to be notified when someone is added leads via list import to review and approval or update before the import happens. Are there any ways to setup something for this to happen? -  or open to any other ideas on how to audit a list import prior to the leads being imported with Marketo functionality? The other idea was to limit Import access for Users and they all need to be sent internally to the Admin to upload but I don't think that is the first choice they'd like to go with. I believe there has been internally trainings on how to properly do a list import but it hasn't stuck. Thanks!

Being notified will always be after the fact, so your data is already in there. When importing, users can set an alert to be sent, but that depends on those same users doing the uploads being courteous enough to include you in the notification. That doesn't sound like the way to go.

Of course, you can set up a monitoring process to run a daily report for everyone that was added to a list in the past 24 hours, but again it is after the fact.

The only way IMO to do something proactive is to restrict user rights on importing lists and only hand this "additional permission" out to people who are properly trained and trusted.

Totally agree with Katja. Importing lists is one of the trickiest and potentially most doom bringing actions that is not behind the admin wall. People start guessing mappings, don't know character encoding and all that good stuff. Definitely restrict it and have only a few hand-picked users do it.
