Validar - iPhone / iPad - Integration

Hi,

We're looking at Validar for tradeshows but we currently use iPads and iPhones.  I know the technology Validar suggests is USB dependent.  Does anyone know if an usb to lightning / iPad adaptor will work?  Or, is it a case of Validar not playing nicely with IOS?

I'm in a similar position now where I'm evaluating Validar. Did you end up going with it? If so, what were your thoughts on it?
