Using Salesforce custom objects as the members of smart list?

Hi,

I have a Salesforce custom object that contains merchant information such as:
  • Merchant First Name
  • Merchant Last Name
  • Merchant Email Address
These records are NOT part of the Lead, Contact, Person Account, or Account object. I'm trying to add these records, present in my custom objet, as members of smart list but it's only pulling in the contacts, which is not what I want.

Did you sync those custom objects?

Are those objects associated with only Contacts?

Re: Using Salesforce custom objects as the members of smart list?

Hi Josh,

The custom object is synced, along with fields associated with it, and the custom object is associated with contacts. However, in our case, the contact is a partner (email address that we don't want as members of the smart list) that sent us a referral (i.e. the merchant information); but the referral's name and email is an instance present at the SF custom object.

If this is the case, my idea was to potentially create a webhook that grabs the salesforce custom object data.
