Hello Marketo guru's!
I have a Marketo form sitting on a landing page.
Is there anyway to create different URL's that all point to this single landing page.
This would allow the business to provide referrer's a unique URL which points to 1 central landing page.
The business can then identify 'fills out form' based on each referrers efforts to advertise our products.
This would be potentially much cleaner and simpler than having multiple landing pages for the same purpose.
Regards
Danny
Please move the thread to Products (Move link is at the right). This isn't a support space, it's for discussing the Champs program itself.
Thanks for moving the thread.
The answer depends on how different you desire these URLs to be.
The most typical way to do source-tagged attribution (not just in Marketo) is to explicitly add UTM params to the query string (though the prefix "utm_" is just a convention from the now-defunct Urchin platform, and you can use any params you want to track form fillouts). I'm not sure why you wouldn't already be going about it this way, so please explain.
You can also create Redirect Rules in Marketo so a published pathname like http://pages.example.com/facebook redirects the lead to the true LP with a query param added: http://pages.example.com/somepage.html?utm_source=facebook. But maintaining separate redirects for all your pages and all your sources can be a maintenance nightmare. With explicit UTM tagging you don't have to create anything ahead of time: all pages are accessible with any query params. (And query params can even be used to segment page content.)
