Is it possible to trigger half a smart list?
I want to set up a nurture campaign for my sales reps who would also be calling these leads. However they wouldn't be able to handle all of the leads at the same time, so I'd like it to send 100 leads in the first week and then another 100 in the second week. Is this possible within 1 smart list?

Gotcha! In that case, I would set up the following smart campaign:
Smart List: Member of Smart List (reference your audience)
Flow:
Then, add the first list to the stream (you can either do this manually or set up another smart campaign) and wait until the first cast has gone, then add the the second list (you can use a scheduled smart campaign for this as well if you don't want to have to remember to do it).
Yep! Is it a true nurture stream, or is it just the one email? If it's only one email, you can use a Random Sample constraint in "send email", add a wait step, and then send the email to anyone who hasn't received it yet.
You can accomplish this in a nurture stream (a slightly more complicated setup but not terrible), but it could get complicated if you're trying to stagger the inflow of leads and sending out weekly emails.
Rachel, I'd like it to be true nurture stream over a 5 week period. What' the more complicated approach?
Hey Ali,
Do you want the audience to go through the stream separately (half goes through all 5 weeks and before the other half hits week 1) or for the lists to be staggered by one week, so that on Week 2, half the audience gets email 1 and the other half gets email 2?
The approach will depend on that answer.
Rachel
Option 2, I'd like for the lists to be staggered by one week, so that on Week 2, half the audience gets email 1 and the other half gets email 2
Once you have the static lists, you can simply setup a batch entry to do
List 1 Add to Engagement S1
Wait 7 days
List 2 Add to Engagement S1
etc
That makes a lot of sense, thanks for your input Josh.
Thanks Rachel. I'll probably try to schedule a smart campaign so I don't have to remember each week. Thanks for your help!
