Now we are connectig a Marketo form into Salesforce.
Wondering if we’re able to not sync certain dropdown-option records to SFDC.
For example, we have a dropdown field called "Question1," and it has "Option1", "Option2", and "Option3".
we don’t want a record to be synced over to SFDC through Marketo when users select "Option3".
We did some research and found this could be done on SalesForce side:

Can we do this setting on MARKETO SIDE?
We are looking forward to your suggestions.
Thank you in advance.
As Sanford said, you have full control under which conditions Marketo inserts a person into SFDC. That is the "Sync to SFDC" flow step, and some more - let's call them implicit - inserts like "Add to Campaign", "Change Status in Campaign" or the Program/Campaign sync. And you should be aware what these conditions are and when these inserts happen.
But that is somewhat unrelated to the Custom Sync Filter you mentioned in that doc. That is toggle in Salesforce that prevents a Salesforce lead or contact to sync to Marketo. That sync filter exists in Marketo as well, and you can turn it off in Marketo to prevent further syncs for already existing Salesforce persons. You can't turn it on again in Marketo though. That can only happen in Salesforce.
