Template Link to Master

Hello,

I've cloned an email into another program, edited only a part of the body of the email using the Relace HTML interface Because its faster to edit on my local machine code editor...). Now that I've done this, the email has lost its linkage to the Master Template.  

Example:

When you click on the email the Status is Draft, but the Template (reads) none

Question: How do I Re-Link the email to the Master that I used originally?

Unfortunately, the only way to "link" your email back to the template is to create a new email.

Replacing the HTML clearly says that you are delinking the template.

This is ok because you edited the html directly. Not a big deal unless you are changing the Email Template and really want that change to populate in the child email.

If you in fact meant to edit only a small section in an editable area, I recommend going into the section, clicking the HTML button and editing the HTML there. That way you don't delink the Template.
