Re: Streams and Exhausted content

I am trying to clean up our engagement programs and we have many that have a large amount of exhausted contacts in the stream. I have tried making a second stream for exhausted content but no one seems to be moving in that stream. What is the proper way to set this up?

Hi @amyvoigt_PBC ,

Please clarify, if you want to remove leads who have exhausted content or do you want to move them to the new stream?

Remove them, we have no more content to add to any of the streams

Hi @uditmathur

I have followed these exact steps and have had no luck with moving people out of the exhausted stream.

HI @amyvoigt_PBC .

Can you share your SL screenshot.

Are you able to get people with exhausted content at the bottom of the stream?

Hi @amyvoigt_PBC ,

If possible share the screen shot of  your smart list.

I am sure you are using the "Change Program Status" flow step.

Hi @amyvoigt_PBC ,

With the SL screen shot you shared, this SL will give you a list of leads who have be transited to the new stream "Exhausted" & NOT the list of leads who are exhausted.

You should use the "Member for Engagement Program" as your filter & use "Exhausted Content" as the Constraint.

Your SL should look something like below.

@uditmathur  Do I need to have a flow step as well. Right now I have the flow step set up as change engagement program stream.

HI @amyvoigt_PBC ,

Yes you will have to have a flow step.

If you want to remove the leads use "Change Program Status"  & set it to "not in program"

uditmathur_0-1731318948657.png

As per your "Change program Stream" flow step will only transition leads to new stream(if created), but will not remove from engagement program.

Hope this helps 😊

@uditmathur So I have followed every step and when I run the campaign it shows the right amount of people but it is still showing that amount of people in the stream. Should this happen?

Once you run the batch campaign all the leads who have exhausted content till that time will be removed from the program.

But any leads those become exhausted after the campaign run will still show as exhausted.

So you will have to set the campaign cadence accordingly (for e.g. to run daily at a given time).

@uditmathur I have done everything correctly and set up the campaign cadence to run daily yet there is still exhausted people in the stream. Why would this still be showing?

Hi @amyvoigt_PBC ,

Your setup looks perfectly fine.

The Exhausted number will update immediately after each cast.

You can check the leads removed from the Engagement program members tab.

@uditmathur  Do I still need to set up an empty stream?

No, if you are removing leads there is no need to have an empty stream.
