Solution for multiple webinar choices and type?

Hi everyone:

I'm still trying to get the hang of Marketo so bear with me.

We are trying to set up a form on our site so that people can choose the webinar date they want to attend. We have two groups of people who will register, both in different industries, attending different webinars, but on the same day.

To demonstrate:  Industry A can attend August 4 or October 2nd at 10:30 am.  Industry B can attend August 4 or October 2nd at 2:30 pm.  We want everyone to be able to use the same form.

Basically, I was trying to set up this: if Bob chose Industry A and August 4th, register him for W webinar. If Susie chose Industry B and August 4th, register her for X webinar. If Mary chose industry A and October 2, register her for Y webinar. If Andy chose Industry B and October 2, register him for Z webinar.

I cannot figure out how to set up a campaign for this. I set up event programs, synced with Webex for each. I then tried to set up a campaign that would request these event programs/campaigns based on what they selected in the form (industry & date) but was unsuccessful.

Not sure if this makes sense or not, but any advice would be helfpul. I think I may have confused myself at this point.

This is how I would sent up these campaigns based on the industry and webinar date fields the lead selects and submits on your form:

Campaign 1 - August 4/Industy A
Trigger - Fills Out Form: Webinar Form
Filter - Industry is A
AND
Filter - Webinar Date is August 4

Campaign 2 - August 4/Industry B
Trigger - Fills Out Form: Webinar Form
Filter - Industry is B
AND
Filter - Webinar Date is August 4

For the October 2 webinar, you could clone these two campaigns...just remember to switch the webinar date from August 4 to October 2.

Each webinar should have a special code that is tied to the form and workflow. Generally what Val showed can work, but a central flow is better. 

Now with forms 2.0, your form will display the fields:

Industry:
Choice: Webinar Date - if A, then show 2 options, if B,then show other 2 optons. You must put all 4 options in the field on the main edit page.

Flow:
Central: if fills out form X on Page Y, then run
Flow: if Webinar 1:, Program 1 > Registered, if 2, etc...

Hi Josh,

I was trying to follow your guide on recurring webinars in marketo and saw the paragraph about "Using the Event Date Code." Could you tell me what you did to get to that screen? Any help would be appreciated!
