I heard that an email that soft bounces is automatically sent again 3 times by Marketo. Does it send it instantly or is there a delay between the trials?

Someone in the docs it says that after a soft bounce, it tries again after 1 hour, 4 hours, 6 hours and 24 hours. Something like that. If it still isn't going through, it marks it as a Soft Bounce. You will see this as Pending in the reports.

At what point does the system move it to a hard bounce? After the 24 hour period or will it reattempt and after 48 hours move it to hard bounce?
It will only be reclassified as a hard bounce if the message it receives changes to a hard bounce message. It will otherwise remain a soft bounce even if it stops reattempting delivery.
