SMS Automation

I understand that I can use Twilio through Marketo to send SMS messages. However, I  want to be able to manage and configure my SMS campaigns similar to the way it's done for emails in Marketo.Is this possible in Marketo? I don't want to have to go through development everytime I want to make an update to the SMS campaign.

Has anyone does this or can make any recommendations?

We have created a service to let you run SMS campaigns that we are currently beta-testing.  This gives you greater control over SMS messages than Webhooks and even lets you handle unsubscribes.  Send me a note if you want to try this - rrajamani@marketo.com

Marketo is just in the beginning of this new integration, and they haven't built out the SMS function beyond Webhooks and into the UI yet. I'm sure it's on their roadmap as all data points to people under 25 using SMS over email 🙂

Thanks. I'm hoping for something sooner rather than later and don't want to send my clients through a Beta experience.

Hi guys,

I'm based in Singapore - and the Twilio rates here are about 3.5 times as expensive as other SMS providers. Sure, integration is (probably) much easier with Twilio; but is there any other SMS provider that we can integrate with?

I'm a new Marketo user and Admin but don't see a Webhooks option in my Admin menu.
Am I possibly missing something?

Just set up Strike Iron webhook - the documenation was super easy I am good to go - not bad for my first real webhook 🙂
