Smart list results displayed in a dashboard

Hello Community,

I am seeking advise to see if its possible to display smart list results in a salesforce dashboard or whether this could only be archived via a 3rd party provider.

Example:

We have a smart list which identifies members of a key audience. A 2nd smart list looks at certain engagement activity from those within the key audience list such as if they carried out any of the following in a certain timeframe;

- Filled out a form

- Filled out LinkedIn Lead Gen form

- Subscribed to email comms

- Downloaded gated content

etc

The results are obviously just displayed as a list of people, but I would like improve how the results are displayed for sharing with internal stakeholders.

Is it possible to interpret a smart list into a Salesforce dashboard and has anyone successfully achieved this before?

We use salesforce dashboards to report on leads etc, but noticed the above types of fields don't seem to be available currently.

Note: We are a B2G business so procuring 3rd party suppliers is quite difficult, hence I'm curious about the art of the possible within our current Salesforce platform.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Cathy

Re: Smart list results displayed in a dashboard

Well, since these activities are logged in Marketo you would not be able to report from it in SFDC directly using filters as you can do in Marketo. There's Activity Sync that allows you to sync certain Marketo activities in SFDC, but Activities are pushed to Salesforce no more than once per day for each person which is not ideal. As a workaround, you can build channels and progression update setup in Marketo that would update the correct status based on the person's activity, and the synced corresponding campaign in SFDC would log these activities too. Based on this data you can build reports in Salesforce. Check out SFDC Sync: Campaign Sync. Let us know if you need more details around this.
