Smart List - Accounts Contacts w/ No Opportunities

Hi, 

Does anyone know how to build a smart list for Contacts under an account that has no opportunities? There is two filters I tried using which were: Has Opportunity = False and Number of Optys = 0. Unfortunately this filter is more for contacts attached to opportunities not attached to accounts.

After using these filters I checked in the salesforce database and found these contacts were related to an account that had opportunities. 😞

Anyone have better luck with building this type of list?

Using this should work...

SFDC Type IS "Contact"
Has Opportunity IS "False"

because Has Opportunity = False will also bring up Leads unless you've specified things. You could also add

Company Name IS "X"

So the reason your contacts showed up is because THEY did NOT have an opp. Your Account did somehow and those might be attached to other Contacts. This is why it is very important to ensure your team is forced to associate the Opp with a Contact from the start.

It's also possible your Marketo User doesn't have the right permissions to see the opps.

Yeah, sorry, I added that filter already too. SFDC Type IS Contact.

I still get contacts that are attached to an account that has an opportunity. Unfortunately...
