Sharing leads between external vendors

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has found a smoother way to accomplish sharing leads with external vendors.

We have a sponsored webinar coming up with an external vendor, SecureWorld. We host the main webinar landing page (using a Marketo form on Plasmic) to have control over the branding and send our own confirmation and reminder emails. The external vendor also has their own landing page and hosts the event on ON24.

In the past, we've used our own landing page and then used Zapier to automatically add these leads to a Google Sheet shared with the vendor. The vendor then has had to upload the list so registrants are able to log in to the webinar. We also have to manually upload any registrants from their landing page.

A few issues we've run into:

- Last minute registrants on our landing page aren't uploaded on their end and can't log in to the webinar. They then register on the vendor's landing page and we have duplicate leads (sometime with the same email address and sometimes with a secondary email address)

- Registrants on their landing page receive delayed registration confirmation or reminder emails since we send these emails out.

Thanks,

Sammy

Re: Sharing leads between external vendors

Hi

  • You can integrate with ON24.  More details in this article... The New ON24 Webinar Integration
  • You can also pass the data from Marketo to vendor with a webhook, but be aware that webhooks are low priority and may have a delay.
  • You can push form data to the URL of the thank you page, which can be hosted by the vendor so they can pull the data from there. (Be aware of any PII considerations.)

It sounds like you have a few too many data hand offs. You may want to try the new Interactive Webinar feature that has likely been deployed to your instance.
