Send Email Future Date -45 Days - Filter vs. Wait Step

I'm working on setting up an email that I want to send at a date - 45 days.  I only want these to be sent Monday to Friday and want any clients who's date-45 day falls on a weekend to get their email the following Monday.  I'm playing around with approaches and have been looking at two options.  I'm interested to know which of these is preferred or if there is a better way to accomplish this.

Option 1 - Use wait step

Option 2 - Use Filter

In both cases I was thinking of scheduling a recurring program that will run M-F at a specific time.
Thanks for your help.

Jenn

Re: Send Email Future Date -45 Days - Filter vs. Wait Step

That would be 45 days in the future, not 45 days before a certain date.

Have you tried using advanced wait properties?Screen Shot 2021-06-28 at 12.13.44 PM.png
