Hi!
i was trying to set up an alert to myself when the is a duplicate lead created in my database in Marketo

i thought i set everything right, but it seems, that those leads are receiving my alert email, too

what am i doing wrong?
how should i set up this smart campaign to ensure that no one but me gets those emails?

that's what i got from the Support, which means, that my flow is working fine.
i guess, i've just paniced)))

The leads don't get sent the alert emails. The message at the bottom stating that the email was sent to the lead gets attached to all emails sent from Marketo. You can mark the alert email as Operational, which will remove that message. So you set up the flow step perfectly!

@Edward, no, that's the only purpose i've created it for - to show duplicate emails that are to be merged

I have the exact same alert set up as you. The only diference is, on the smart list I'm using source when the lead is created. i.e. SFDC and API.

Is your list being used in another smart campaign?

Hmm, that shouldn't be happening. I would contact support about this...
